2019 STM Catholic Mane Event

JOIN US FOR A STARRY NIGHT

We're celebrating STM Catholic's 25th Anniversary!  Celebrate STM at the 2019 Annual Mane Event Auction. Guests will enjoy a fun evening that includes delicious food, fancy adult beverages, and many great items for purchase in our silent and live auctions!  The evening will conclude with hits from the 80's and 90's performed by local band Final Eyes. Spend time with STM Catholic's extraordinary community of parents, educators, and clergy members as we raise much-needed funds for our children’s education!
 

WHY IT'S IMPORTANT

Every year, the STM Mane Event attempts to raise over $200,000 to maintain our extraordinary learning environment. Tuition fees alone do not fund our vision of a first-rate education for our children. The proceeds from the Mane Event provide funding for operating expenses such as:
  • Full-Time Para- Professionals (teacher aides)
  • Full-Time Specials (Art, Gym, Music, Library)
  • Teacher Salaries
  • Improvements to school facilities
By raising additional operating capital through the Mane Event, STM Catholic is able to keep tuition costs down, allowing more families may achieve their dreams of sending their children to our wonderful school, where they not only receive an exceptional education, but also learn the importance of serving their communities!
 

EVENING ITINERARY

The Mane Event is on Saturday, November 9, 2020, at 6 PM at Palazzo Verdi in Greenwood Village.  Cocktail attire is encouraged, but feel free to come in whatever makes you comfortable!  A few more details about the evening and the days leading up to the event:

  • Wednesday, 11/6/2020: Silent Auction Opens at 2 PM!!!  Preview items in the Small Cafeteria through Thursday
  • Saturday, 11/9/2020: 
    • 5:30 PM: Doors open, check-in for the event begins
    • 6:00 PM: Silent Auction continues
    • 6:00 PM: Food stations and bars begin serving; tables are open seating; guests may mingle about or choose their seat and dine at their tables
    • 8:15 PM: Food stations close and guests are asked to find a seat if they haven't already; dessert and coffee are served
    • 8:30 PM: Silent auction closes!
    • 8:30 PM: Presentation and Live auction begin
    • 9:30 PM: Presentation and Live auction end
    • 9:45 PM: Self-checkout and item distribution begin
    • 9:30 PM: Band begins playing
    • 11:00 PM:  Mane Event concludes

BE A S.T.A.R.!

In honor of the 25th anniversary of STM Catholic School, we are asking all STM families to be a S.T.A.R. and shine bright for our school!  S.T.A.R. families contribute to the Mane Event in four different ways: 
 

SERVICE
  • Volunteer to help with the Mane Event; many opportunities exist, including jobs that can be done from home, jobs leading up to the event, and jobs the night of the event! (Please visit this page to sign up for a volunteer position)
  • Volunteer to chair a Mane Event committee
  • Become a sponsor of the Mane Event at the Comet level or higher

TREASURE
  • Donate an item to the Mane Event auction
  • Solicit an item to be donated to the Mane Event auction
  • Solicit a Mane Event sponsorship
  • Contribute to the class baskets fund
  • Volunteer to chair a Mane Event committee
  • Become a sponsor of the Mane Event at the Comet level or higher

ATTENDANCE
  • Register to attend the Mane Event
  • Purchase a ticket for a teacher, staff member, or clergy member to attend the Mane Event
  • Register to bid on silent auction items, even if you are unable to attend the Mane Event
  • Volunteer to chair a Mane Event committee
  • Become a sponsor of the Mane Event at the Comet level or higher

RAFFLE
  • Sell your students' Calendar Raffle tickets
  • Participate in church Calendar Raffle sales before and after a specified mass (Please visit this page to sign up to sell tickets at a mass)

 

Families who fulfill their S.T.A.R. commitment will receive special recognition for their dedication to STM Catholic.  All S.T.A.R. families will receive a star on our "Wall of Stars" displayed in the front lobby of the school, and will also be entered into the raffle for a last-minute getaway, courtesy of Inspirato Vacations, that will be drawn the night of the Mane Event!!!
